The Owner
Meet Melinda, the heart and soul behind our organization. She started her journey in healthcare as a nurse in 2011 and has since accumulated a decade of rich experiences. In 2016, she took a significant step in her career, becoming a Nurse Practitioner—a role that reflects her dedication to advancing her skills and making a difference in patient care. What makes Melinda genuinely remarkable, though, is her journey. Since July 14th, 2020, she has been on a journey of recovery, embodying strength and resilience. Beyond her professional and personal triumphs, Melinda is a passionate advocate. She channels her advocacy into finding creative and innovative solutions for patients, especially those facing challenges with limited resources. Melinda’s story is one of compassion, resilience, and a genuine commitment to making healthcare more humane and accessible.

The Staff
I am Heather. I grew up in a small town in Michigan and transplanted to Indiana after college. I love the 4 seasons of Indiana, but like they all say, there’s no place like home, and Michigan will always feel like home to me. I am a self-proclaimed nerd who is fascinated by the human body, and using medicine to keep it healthy (or heal it!). I got my board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2018, and have been working in addiction medicine since 2020. Like many people, my life has been affected by addiction and in 2021, my family lost a loved one to the effects of the addiction. I believe if people are not given the hope of redemption and restoration in their addiction, this terrible disease has the potential to wipe out an entire generation. It is my hope to come alongside those trying to find their way in recovery, and use my love of medicine to facilitate a little healing and encouragement. When I am not working you can often find me with my family (I married my high school sweetheart in 2008 and we have 4 kids), exercising, reading, or taking a nap
